Liverpool is home to many, many bars of all different tastes, styles and clientele.

A very successful gay scene is developing, which attracts a gay and mixed crowd and most of these venues are in the Stanley Street area. That said, you shouldn’t feel restricted or herded into just the one area – many of Liverpool’s bars will offer a welcome to all who behave themselves! This laid back attitude also filters through to the local licensing and you’ll find pub hours differ from many cities and offer pretty varied times for drinking.

		Superstar Boudoir As the name suggest, this is a bit of a local celebrity hangout, and itís not unusual to spot the odd ex-soap actress or pop poppet soaking up the atmosphere and the barís offerings. 22-24 Stanley Street, Liverpool click for details
		Masquerade The Masquerade is an original feature on Liverpoolís gay scene and the perfect place to start an evening of partying. 		The Lisbon A major gay stalwart and a popular meeting point at the start of a night, The Lisbon is quite a shock when decending itís steps to the basement it occupies. 		3345 Seen by some as a veritable hub of cultural activity in Liverpool, in particular the music scene, 3345 Parr street is a free membership bar and restaurant that is popular with the media types.
