masquerade... a gay liverpool legend

The Masquerade is an original feature on Liverpool’s gay scene and the perfect place to start an evening of partying. Fun and frolicks are abound as DJ’s and Drag Queen hostesses make it their personal responsibility to help get you off to a flying start.

The main bar, although small, provides swift service with friendly and capable staff. In addition, a second bar is tucked away around the corner to take the overspill in a slightly quieter spot. The dancefloor is always busy from early on – there’s no room for attitude here! The crowd is mixed gay and straight, male and female, where whatever floats your boat is just another excuse to celebrate.

Friday and Saturday are extremely busy and everyone appears to pay a visit at least once during their evening on the tiles. As you might expect of a popular cabaret bar, the place filled up quickly on Sunday afternoon, and it remains pretty busy throughout the week.

The staff are very friendly too!
