Jupiters may sound a bit like a nightclub, but it is, in fact, a friendly, bright and cheery bar of the more traditional pub variety. Light and airy, the venue is spacious with a large bar and pool table area. We found the Landlady and staff extremely friendly and it’s easy to see why this venue attracts a regular clientele. Everyone is welcome and there is entertainment at the weekend with live music on Friday and Karaoke on Saturday. There is also a pool table and large screen showing sports and events.

With plenty of drinks promotions throughout the week and all day on Sunday and with the pool table at a very reasonable 50p, this is a venue to stock up on your refreshments before hitting the clubs.

For private functions or on particularly packed nights, there is a great self-contained events space in the basement, with its own bar and washrooms – perfect for work celebrations and parties. It’s certainly worth speaking to management to find out what they can do for you.
