If you never thought you could get away with wearing white then now is your chance to try as everyone is encouraged to adopt a special outfit for a weekend of partying!

The idea behind the white party is to try bring Manchester Village venues together and encourage everyone to celebrate what a great space we have in the Village. White parties are hugely popular all over the world and with the hope that the summer will be lovely and warm it seemed a great way to bring the street to life over what would otherwise be a rather non event weekend at the end of July.

2008: The majority of the venues in the Village will be taking part in this weekend with a huge range of different activities. The venues will be dressing themselves and the staff in full white, the clubs are hosting white parties, venues are offering free drinks and drink offers to those in full white (white shoes, trousers and top), the Princess on Portland is hosting a white dinner where not only are the guest in white but all the courses will be white!
