Shining into 2009

Sparkle, the National Transgendered Celebration continues to shine into 2009 as organisers announce the dates for next year’s event. After a highly successful three day festival in June 2008 on Manchester’s Canal Street, organizers are now taking a well earned break but will be back in later in the year to start making Sparkle 2009 bigger, better and shiner.

Sparkle was found in 2005 by Kim Angel and is a weekend like no other with talks, workshops, meals, clubs, information and much more on the transgender agenda. It’s rapidly becoming the must-do transgender event and with plans already in the making 2009 looks like being a vintage Sparkle. Long may she shine.
