Its art, Jim - but not as we know it!

Why oh why do they have free bars at these things? They know it brings out the worst in me. At least I managed to grab a few pics before I ended up in casualty (I will be walking again in a couple of weeks - thank you for asking!)

It was undoubtedly a party to remember... that is... the bits that I do remember. Apart from the unusual music selection from the Dollman Disco (Dolly Parton V The Smiths - suprisingly successful!) and the well-timed American election themed 'Art' performances - the first being a yashmak covered ode to American institutalised homophobia, which ended up as 'Tush Against Bush', and a rather more dramatic number (was that real blood?) from a cowboy with attitude, wings and a small bird in a cage. No, I'm not making this up.

It was a great chance to let what's left of my hair down, meet a few decent people and generally have a laugh. Although lying in the street shouting "AAAAARRGGGHHHH get me an ambulance" is seldom funny.

(cowboy) Hats off to the guys from 'Hello Sailor' for putting together a decent party - these things can be pretty starchy affairs but I think we all enjoyed ourselves. Well done Gary for a first rate disco - and a nice mask to hide the bags under my eyes! And if you get the chance, for goodnes sake, go and see the stuff on the walls - its first class.

Oh my GOD Rich! You're never allowed within a mile of a free bar again. Bloody hell!
look - it's art, really - honest....don't be frightened....
it's just not your scene - is it, Terry?
Gary takes his DJ duties far too seriously
